POWER Engineers 3, 2,1… Liftoff! EWSU’s Asset Management Strategy Goes Vertical

AMS The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) has been a longtime Cityworks user and is well-versed in the management and tracking of their water, wastewater and stormwater horizontal assets. The expansion of their Cityworks AMS footprint to onboard plant-centric procedures and assets began with the conversion of Assethound Mechanical work activities into Cityworks branching inspections, which facilitate the robust nature of the Vertical Asset hierarchy and align with the Institute of Asset Management’s best practices. In parallel, inspections were configured for the water filtration plant’s weekly preventative maintenance activities. This initiative will be a multi-phased approach toward a fully applied Strategic Asset Management Program.
